Primavera

Step inside my secret garden. Can you feel the gentle breeze. The trees are full of bright, round oranges. Look down at the green grass. It is covered in hundreds of pretty flowers, all blooming just for you. In my garden, it is always warm and sunny. It is always a happy day. I am a painting, and my name is Primavera. That means Springtime.

I was made a long, long time ago, in the year 1482. A kind man named Sandro Botticelli painted me with his soft brushes. He lived in a sunny city called Florence. He mixed happy colors like green, pink, and blue to bring my garden to life. He painted me to be a special gift for a wedding. I was made to celebrate love and the joy of spring. He filled me with happy people. There is a beautiful lady named Venus in the middle. Another lady named Flora is spreading flowers all around. Everyone is gentle and happy in my garden.

For hundreds of years, people have come to visit me. They look at my dancing friends and my flowers that never, ever fade.
