I Am The Nutcracker Ballet

Imagine a snowy Christmas Eve. Twinkly lights are glowing, and sweet music fills the air like candy canes. You see dancers who spin like snowflakes and leap like gingerbread cookies jumping from a plate. I am that magical feeling. I am The Nutcracker ballet.

A long, long time ago, on December 17th, 1892, I came to life. A kind man named Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky wrote my music. He used flutes that sound like chirping birds and bells that sparkle like sugar. My story is about a little girl named Clara who gets a special toy for Christmas: a wooden Nutcracker soldier. At midnight, he magically comes to life to fight the silly Mouse King.

After the battle, my Nutcracker Prince takes Clara to a magical place called the Land of Sweets. There, the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy dances for them, and so do flowers and candies from all over the world. I was made to share this happy, dreamy adventure with families every Christmas. I help you imagine a world where toys can dance and dreams are filled with candy and wonder.
