The Story of Karl Marx

Hello. My name is Karl. A long time ago, in the year 1818, I was born in a town called Trier. When I was a little boy, I loved to read big books. I also loved to ask big questions. I would look around and see some people had lots of yummy food and cozy homes. But I also saw other people who worked so very hard but did not have enough. This made me feel sad. I thought, 'That is not fair.'. I wanted to know why and how we could make things better for everyone.

When I grew up, I still loved reading and writing. One day, I met my very best friend. His name was Friedrich. Friedrich and I were like two peas in a pod. We loved to talk and share our ideas. We would talk for hours and hours about how to make the world a kinder and more fair place for every single person. We had a big idea. What if everyone shared. What if everyone worked together like a big, happy team. We believed that if we all helped each other, then everyone would have a warm bed, good food, and time to play. We imagined a world where nobody was left out. Everyone would be important, and everyone would help their friends and neighbors. We thought that was the best way for people to live happily together.

My friend Friedrich and I wanted to share our big idea with the whole world. So, we wrote our thoughts down in books. We hoped that people would read our words and think about them. My biggest hope was for a world where every person is treated with kindness. A world where everyone has enough to be happy, healthy, and safe. That is the idea I wanted to leave behind for you. Always remember to be kind. Always remember to share. And always look out for one another, because we are all on one big team together.
