Ludwig van Beethoven

Hello. My name is Ludwig. A long, long time ago, in the year 1770, I was born in a cozy town. When I was a little boy, my very favorite thing to do was play music on the piano. I loved to sit on the bench and let my fingers dance on the black and white keys. Tap, tap, tap. The sounds would fill our whole house. My father was my first teacher. He showed me how to play. I practiced and practiced every day. Sometimes my fingers got tired, but I loved making happy songs so much that I kept going. Soon, I could play beautiful songs all by myself for my family to hear.

When I grew up, I moved to a big, busy city called Vienna. Music was everywhere. I heard music in the streets and in big, fancy halls. It was so exciting. I loved writing my own songs. I wanted my music to tell stories without using any words. Some of my songs were big and loud, like a superhero's theme song. BUM BUM BUM BUMMM. They were full of powerful feelings, like when you feel super brave. Other songs were soft and sweet, like a gentle lullaby you hear before bedtime. They were quiet and thoughtful, like when you are watching the stars. My music could be happy, sad, and everything in between.

As I got older, it became hard for me to hear the sounds around me. The world became very quiet. But that did not stop me. The music was not in my ears, it was inside my heart and in my head. I could still feel the vibrations of the piano and I could imagine all the sounds. I kept creating my beautiful songs for everyone to enjoy. I grew very old and then I died, but my music lives on. Even today, people all over the world listen to my music to feel happy, brave, and full of wonder.
