His name was Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, and around the year 820 CE, he wrote a famous book all about me. He showed the world how my tricks worked. He called my main trick 'al-jabr,' which is an Arabic word that means 'restoring' or 'balancing.' He showed everyone how to move numbers and symbols around to keep everything equal and find the secret answer. It was like he gave me a superhero cape and a name, so everyone could call on me for help.
