Hello, I'm a Smartwatch!

Hello. I am a Smartwatch. I get to live right on your wrist, like a little hug all day long. I can show you the time with my bright, happy face. But I am more than just a clock. I can show you a big smiley face when your mom sends a message. I can even show you pictures of your puppy. I am a super helper, and I am always with you, right here on your arm. I love to light up and say hello when you look at me. It is my job to be your special friend and helper every single day.

My family is very old and very smart. My great-grandpa was a calculator watch, born a long, long time ago, on June 19th, 1975. He was so cool because he could do math right on his screen with tiny buttons. Other family members could show little cartoons that made people giggle and smile. For many years, clever people dreamed of a watch that could do even more. They read about a hero named Dick Tracy in their comic books who had a watch that could talk. They worked and worked for many years, thinking and building and trying new things, until one day, I was born. I was their happy dream come true, a little computer for your wrist.

Now, I am here to be your little helper and your friend. When you run and jump and play outside, I count all your happy steps. One, two, three, go. When you want to have a dance party, I can play your favorite songs. Wiggle, wiggle, dance. I am your little friend on your arm, ready for any big adventure we have together. I love helping you learn new things and have fun every single day. We can learn about the weather, listen to stories, and call grandma. Let's go play.
