Mei and Andres zoomed through space in the Comet Cruiser, a shiny, silver spaceship! "Wow!" exclaimed Mei, her eyes wide as saucers, peering out the window. Giant, sparkly space rocks whizzed by. "Look, Andres!" Mei pointed. "A planet made of jelly!"

Andres, always ready for action, bounced in his seat. "Can we go there? Can we run on it?" he asked, wiggling with excitement. He loved outdoor games and running, and the idea of a jelly planet sounded like the best playground ever. The Comet Cruiser was heading towards the Star Station, a space station that looked like a giant, shimmering lollipop. It had colorful rooms, zero-gravity play areas, and windows that showed all the planets.

As they docked, a booming voice announced, "Welcome to the Star Station, future explorers!"

Mei, who loved to learn about history, was fascinated by the displays of space artifacts, while Andres was already sprinting towards the zero-gravity playground. Suddenly, a fizzing sound filled the air. A swirling, deep pink cloud appeared, and from it, floated a witch! But not just any witch – this was Peachy, the Lollipop Witch! She zoomed around on a fizzy soda broomstick, leaving trails of sparkly bubbles in her wake. Her hat was a giant, swirled lollipop, and she carried a spellbook made of wafer pages with icing ink.

"Greetings, young space travelers!" Peachy chirped, her voice as sweet as candy floss. "I'm here to sprinkle a little sweetness on the universe!"

Mei and Andres stared at her, amazed. Mei loved drawing, and Peachy was the most colorful character she had ever seen. Andres, always up for a game, immediately wanted to know what kind of fun Peachy brought.

Peachy giggled. "I cast candy spells, of course! I can turn vegetables into lollipops for 24 hours, and my broomstick is the fastest way to travel!"

Suddenly, the Star Station began to shake! Alarms blared, and lights flickered. The booming voice returned, now sounding worried, "Warning! Gravity malfunction!"

Andres frowned. "What's a gravity malfunction?"

Mei, remembering a documentary she watched, explained, "It means things might start floating away!"

And, sure enough, a banana peeled itself and floated toward the ceiling, followed by a bowl of space cereal! People started to float too, bumping into each other with surprised shouts.

Peachy gasped, "Oh dear! This isn't good! My candy spells are usually foolproof, but this... this is a bit of a pickle!" She pulled out her wafer-page spellbook. "Let's see... a 'Fix-it-Quick' spell!" She began to chant, "Bubblegum, marshmallow, licorice string, make the gravity, please, now cling!" She waved her lollipop wand, and a giant swirl of cotton candy erupted, but it just floated away, making the situation worse by adding to the cloud of floating stuff.

"I'll help!" shouted Andres. He loved running and quickly figured that to escape floating, he just had to grab onto anything that wasn't moving. He ran around the station, grabbing onto railings, walls, anything that was anchored to the floor. "We need to find the gravity control room!"

Mei, remembering she had brought her drawing supplies, began to sketch the layout of the Star Station, trying to figure out where the control room might be. "Hmm," she mumbled, "The control room is usually at the core, near the engine room." She looked at her drawing, adding details, thinking, and analyzing the floating items around her.

Peachy flew by on her fizzing broomstick. "We need a stronger spell! But I need… ingredients! Where am I going to find special sweets in this gravity-gone-wild mess?"

Andres, with his energy, quickly located a supply closet. “I found a bunch of candy!" he shouted. “But it's floating away!"

Mei, with her drawing, guided Andres through the chaotic hallways toward the candy. "Maybe if we can get those candies to Peachy…" she began, pointing at the direction.

Peachy, her face now showing determination, called out, "We can do this!" She flew after them, her lollipop hat spinning. They worked together, Mei calling out directions, Andres catching the floating candies, and Peachy trying spell after spell.

Finally, Mei pointed to a drawing of the engine room and said, "The core! The core is where the gravity is controlled!"

Andres, with his energy, darted ahead. "I'll find it!"

"Wait!" Peachy yelled as she tried another spell. "Rainbow sherbet, gummy bear, fix the gravity, with flair!" This time, a beam of sparkly light shot out and hit a large control panel that was blinking red.

Suddenly, the station stopped shaking. Everything fell to the floor with a gentle *thud*. The gravity was back!

Everyone cheered! The banana landed perfectly in its peel, and the cereal settled back into its bowl.

"Hooray!" exclaimed Peachy, wiping a speck of icing ink from her cheek. "Teamwork makes the candy work!"

To thank them, Peachy turned all the vegetables in the station into candy for 24 hours! Mei got to draw a picture of a candy carrot that tasted like chocolate, and Andres ran around, happily munching on a candy-coated broccoli floret.

Before they left, Peachy winked at Mei. "Since you love history and drawing, here is a special gift!" she said, handing her a candy quill and a wafer-page sketchbook. “Write your own stories, and I will make them real.” She then winked at Andres. "And for you, my energetic friend, a bottomless bag of fizzy lifting sweets, you can run for miles with this!"

As the Comet Cruiser blasted off, Mei and Andres looked at each other and smiled. The Star Station and Peachy were the best part of their trip. Mei couldn't wait to write her first story, and Andres couldn't wait to keep running. They learned that day that even when things seem out of control, with a little teamwork and a lot of fun, anything is possible. And that’s a sweet lesson to remember!
