Have you ever seen a picture of a yummy, swirly cupcake and suddenly wanted to eat one. Or maybe you heard a happy song about a brand-new, super bouncy ball and thought, 'I want to play with that.'. That little feeling is me, whispering a secret about something exciting and fun. I love to share good news and tell you all about wonderful things. I am a little whisper that makes you say, 'Wow.'.

Hello. My name is Advertising. I am here to share big news with everyone. A super, super long time ago, in a warm place called ancient Egypt, people would paint pretty pictures on walls. The pictures showed everyone the fresh, warm bread they just baked. Later on, in busy towns during the Middle Ages, a man called a 'town crier' would walk around and shout. He would say, 'Hear ye, hear ye. The best shoes in town are for sale right here.'. That was me, too, shouting the news. Then, when a special machine called the printing press was invented around 1440, I could be a picture on a piece of paper for lots of people to see at once.

Today, you can see me on the bright screen of a TV or hear me on the radio in the car. You might even find me on your family's tablet when you play a game. I love telling you about new movies with funny characters, fun parks to visit on a sunny day, and tasty new snacks to try. My job is to share all the exciting stories so you can discover the wonderful things in the world to enjoy and share with your friends. I help everyone find a little bit of happiness.
