Just want Ivan Tsarevich?
Hello. My name is Ivan Tsarevich, and I am a prince, the youngest of three brothers. Our story began in my father’s beautiful garden, where a magnificent apple tree grew golden apples. But one night, a thief started stealing them, and my father, the Tsar, was very sad. This is the story of my great adventure, the tale of Ivan Tsarevich and the Firebird. My older brothers tried to catch the thief but fell asleep right away. When it was my turn, I decided I would not close my eyes for even a second. Suddenly, the garden lit up as if the sun had appeared in the middle of the night. I saw an amazing sight: a bird with feathers that glowed like a bonfire. It was the Firebird. I crept closer and tried to catch it, but it was too fast. I only managed to grab one of its shimmering tail feathers. The single feather was so bright it lit up our darkest rooms. My father was so amazed by its beauty that he forgot all about his lost apples and wanted only one thing: for me to bring him the Firebird itself.
The Tsar sent my brothers and me on a quest to find the magical bird. My brothers went one way, and I went another. I rode my horse for many days and many nights, deeper and deeper into the wilderness. I finally came to a crossroads with a big stone that had a warning carved into it. I chose the path that seemed the most adventurous, but soon a huge, clever Grey Wolf appeared from behind the trees. In a flash, he ate my horse. I sat on the ground and cried, my journey was over before it had even truly begun. But the Grey Wolf felt sorry for me. He spoke to me, saying, 'Do not worry, Ivan Tsarevich. I ate your horse, so now I will be your horse.'. He promised to help me and could run faster than the wind itself. The Grey Wolf became my guide and my best friend. He knew all the secrets of the forest and the kingdoms we had to travel through. He told me he knew where to find the Firebird, but warned me that the quest would be tricky. 'To capture the Firebird,' he explained, 'we must first get a special horse with a golden mane from a powerful king named Tsar Dolmat.'
Ivan and the Magical Firebird

The Tsar sent my brothers and me on a quest to find the magical bird. My brothers went one way, and I went another. I rode my horse for many days and many nights, deeper and deeper into the wilderness. I finally came to a crossroads with a big stone that had a warning carved into it. I chose the path that seemed the most adventurous, but soon a huge, clever Grey Wolf appeared from behind the trees. In a flash, he ate my horse.
The Grey Wolf helped me sneak into Tsar Dolmat’s stable. He told me, 'Take the horse, but do not touch its golden bridle.'. I saw the horse, and it was magnificent. But the bridle sparkled with so many jewels, I couldn't resist. The moment I touched it, loud bells rang, and the guards captured me. To earn my freedom, the king gave me another quest: to find the lovely Princess Elena. With the wolf's clever tricks, we found Princess Elena and rescued her. On our long journey back, we talked and laughed, and we fell in love. The wolf was so smart. To get the horse and the Firebird, he magically transformed himself to look like Princess Elena and then like the horse, tricking the other kings. We finally had everything and were heading home, so happy. But my adventure took a dark turn. My two older brothers were jealous of my success. They found me sleeping in a field, took the princess, the horse, and the Firebird, and left me all alone in a deep ravine. I thought my story was over, but my loyal friend, the Grey Wolf, found me. He used magical water of life to heal me, and we raced back to my kingdom to set things right.
When the Grey Wolf and I galloped into the castle, everyone was shocked to see me. My brothers were telling our father that they had completed the quests. I told my father the truth about my brothers' jealousy and how they had left me behind. The Tsar was so happy to see me safe that he hugged me tightly. My brothers were banished from the kingdom for their wickedness. I married the beautiful Princess Elena, and we lived in happiness for the rest of our days. My story became a famous Russian fairy tale, or 'skazka'. For hundreds of years, families have told this story around warm fires on cold nights. It teaches us that being brave and kind is more important than being the oldest or strongest. It shows that help can come from unexpected friends, like my Grey Wolf. This tale has inspired amazing music, like a famous ballet called 'The Firebird,' and beautiful paintings. Even today, the story of the Firebird reminds us that a little bit of courage can lead to the greatest adventures and that the best stories, like a magical feather, never stop glowing.
