Hello. I am a Marsican brown bear. My home is in the beautiful mountains of Italy. I live where there are lots of tall trees and warm sunshine. I have special light-brown fur that is very, very fluffy. My fluffy fur is like a cozy blanket that keeps me warm all day and all night.
My favorite thing to do is search for delicious food. It is my berry-best kind of day when I find yummy things to eat. I love to eat sweet berries that grow on bushes. I also look for crunchy nuts on the ground. Sometimes, I dig for tasty roots from the soil. I mostly eat plants, which makes me a gentle kind of bear. After my tummy is full of good food, I love to find a soft spot to take a long, cozy nap in the sun.
There are not many bears like me, which makes us very special. Because we are special, I have a very important job in the forest. When I eat berries, I help plant new seeds all over the mountain. This helps more yummy plants grow for all the animals to share. I am a forest helper.
