Just want Plesiosaur?
Hi there. My name is Plesiosaur. I lived a long, long time ago in the big, sparkly ocean. I wasn't a fish, and I wasn't a dinosaur, but I lived when they did. I had a super long neck, a small head, and a round body. Instead of feet, I had four big flippers that I used to paddle through the water, just like a sea turtle.
Splish, splash. I loved flying through the water with my flippers. It felt like I was a bird in the sea. When I got hungry, I would use my long neck to reach out and surprise little fish. Snap. I would catch a yummy snack in my mouth. Eating tasty fish was my favorite part of the day.
I swam in the oceans during the Jurassic Period. That was millions of years ago. Even though you can't see me swimming today, you can still learn all about me. People find my bones, which are called fossils. They put them together so you can see what I looked like in a museum. It helps everyone remember the amazing animals that once lived in the deep blue sea.
