The story

I am a Xolo, Your Warm Friend

Hello there. My name is Xoloitzcuintli, but you can call me Xolo. That is my special nickname. I am a dog from a warm, sunny place called Mexico. I am very special because I am mostly hairless. That means I do not have a lot of fur like other dogs. My skin is smooth and soft, and it feels very warm when you touch it. Because I don't have much hair, I love to get lots of cuddles to stay cozy. My skin is my own little blanket, and it is perfect for snuggling close to you on a cool day. I am happy to be your special, warm friend.

A big part of my day is spending time with my human family. I love them so much. My warm skin makes me a great snuggler, and I will lie right next to you to keep you warm. But I am not just a snuggler, I am also very playful. When I get happy and excited, I wiggle my big ears back and forth. It is my way of saying, 'I am so glad to see you.'. I love playing games and running around. I am a loyal friend, and that means I will always stay close to the people I love. My favorite place to be is right by your side, ready for our next adventure together.

A very long time ago, people thought my ancestors were magical guides who could protect them. That was a very important job. Today, my job is just as special. My important job is to be a loving and fun part of my family. I love to play, cuddle, and make my people smile every day. Being an ancient kind of dog is great, but getting love and happy pats from my family is my favorite thing in the whole world.
