Just want Niccolò Paganini?
Hello! My name is Niccolò Paganini. I was born in a sunny city called Genoa in Italy a long, long time ago, on October 27th, 1782. When I was a little boy, I did not have many toys. My best friend was my little violin. Sometimes I called it my fiddle. I loved my violin more than anything, and I held it all the time. It was so much fun to make music with it.
I wanted my violin to sing beautiful songs, so I practiced and practiced all day long. In the early 1800s, I found new ways to play my music. I wrote special practice songs called Caprices. I could make my violin sound like birds chirping high in a tree. I could make it sound like a big, rumbling storm. I could even make my music sound like a silly donkey braying, 'Hee-haw!'. It was like making magic with my fiddle.
When I grew up, I traveled all around Europe to share my songs. In the 1820s and 1830s, I played my violin for big crowds of people. When they heard my fast, exciting music, their eyes would get very wide with surprise. After I finished a song, everyone would cheer and clap their hands. Making people feel happy with my music was my very favorite thing to do in the whole world.
I lived to be 57 years old, and my life ended in the year 1840. Even though I am not here anymore, my music is! Today, people all over the world still listen to my violin songs when they want to hear something exciting and amazing. My fiddle music is still played to make people smile.
