Just want Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui?
Hello! My name is Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui. When I was a little boy, my name was Cusi Yupanqui. I lived a long, long time ago in the big Andes Mountains of South America. I was a prince in a special place called the Kingdom of Cusco. I loved my home and all the people who lived there. Around the year 1438, I became the leader, or Sapa Inca. I was given a new name that meant 'He Who Remakes the World.' I knew I wanted to help my kingdom grow strong and wonderful.
As the Sapa Inca, I had so many big ideas! I wanted our city, Cusco, to be the most beautiful city in the whole world. So we built new buildings with big stones that fit together just like puzzle pieces. I also helped build a very special city high up in the clouds. We called it Machu Picchu. To help all my people, we built long roads to connect our homes and big houses to store food. This way, everyone would have plenty to eat. We called our big home the Inca Empire.
I was so happy I could help the Inca Empire grow to be so big and strong. I was very proud of all the amazing things we built together. I lived a full life, and my time as a leader ended around the year 1471. Even today, people from all over the world come to visit the stone cities I helped build, like Cusco and the amazing Machu Picchu. They remember me as the Sapa Inca who turned a small kingdom into a great empire for everyone.
