Just want European Fairy Tales?
Do you love stories about talking animals, magical forests, and brave heroes? I am the sparkle in a fairy’s wand and the deep, dark woods where anything can happen. I am the glass slipper that fits just right and the gingerbread house that smells so sweet. I am a whisper of adventure that tickles your imagination before you even know my name.
For a very long time, I wasn't in books. I was told by families sitting together by a warm fire. Grandparents shared my tales of clever kids and grumpy giants with their grandchildren. Then, people decided I was too special to forget. A long time ago in France, a writer named Charles Perrault wrote down stories like 'Sleeping Beauty' in a book in 1697. Later, two brothers in Germany, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, traveled all over to listen to my stories. They carefully wrote them down, and on December 20th, 1812, they shared their first book of my tales with the world.
Now you know who I am. I am European Fairy Tales. You can find me in colorful picture books and exciting movies. I am here to remind you to be brave, to be kind, and to always believe in a little bit of magic. Whenever you imagine a new adventure, I am right there with you, helping you find your own 'happily ever after'.
