Just want Rosetta Mission?
Hello. My name is Rosetta, and I am a spacecraft, a real space explorer. My big adventure started on March 2nd, 2004. I was on top of a giant rocket that went RUMBLE, RUMBLE, WHOOSH. It pushed me all the way into the sky and into outer space. It was so exciting. My job was to fly for a very, very long time to visit a comet that was far away. To get there, I had to take a long, sleepy nap while I zipped past stars and planets on my special trip.
After ten long years of sleeping and flying, I woke up. And guess what I saw on August 6th, 2014. It was the comet. My comet. It looked like a giant, bumpy rubber ducky floating in the dark. It was so cool. I had a little robot friend with me named Philae, and it was Philae's job to go say hello. On November 12th, 2014, I carefully sent my little friend down, down, down to give the comet a gentle boop on its back. Philae was so brave, hopping onto the comet to take pictures and learn all its secrets.
While Philae explored the surface, I flew all around the comet like a happy little bee. I learned that the comet was made of very old ice and sparkly dust, left over from when the sun and planets were just babies. We had so much fun together. When my journey was finally over on September 30th, 2016, I flew down and gave the comet a final, gentle, sparkly space hug. My adventure helped teach everyone on Earth about comets, and it shows that exploring our amazing universe is the best adventure of all.
