Just want Keloğlan - Turkish?
There once was a boy named Keloğlan. He lived with his mommy in a cozy little house. Keloğlan did not have much hair on his head, but he had lots of smart ideas inside. People called him the 'bald boy,' but he was very clever. He was about to have a big, big adventure. This is the story of Keloğlan and the grumpy giant.
One day, a giant came to the village. Stomp, stomp, stomp. He was a big, grumpy giant. He took all the sweet pears from the tall trees. All the yummy pears were gone. Everyone was sad. So, so sad. But Keloğlan had an idea. A very clever idea. He could not fight a giant, but he could be smart. He packed a soft piece of cheese and a smooth white stone and went to find the giant.
Keloğlan found the giant on a big mountain. The giant laughed a big, loud laugh. 'Ha ha ha. What can a little boy do?' he said. Keloğlan held up his smooth white stone. 'I am very strong,' said Keloğlan. 'I can squeeze water from this stone.' Then, Keloğlan did a sneaky trick. He swapped the stone for the soft cheese. He squeezed the cheese. Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze. Drip, drip, drip went the water. The giant's eyes got big and round. He was so surprised.
The giant thought Keloğlan was the strongest boy in the world. He listened when Keloğlan spoke. Keloğlan said that sharing the pears would make everyone friends. The giant had never had a friend before. He smiled a giant smile. He brought all the yummy pears back to the village. Everyone shared the pears together. Yum, yum, yum. Keloğlan showed that you don't have to be big to be a hero. A clever mind is the best treasure of all.
