Just want Mowgli?
The big, green jungle was full of sounds. Buzz, buzz, went the little bees. Whoosh, whoosh, went the waterfall. This jungle was home to a little boy named Mowgli. He was a man-cub, and a kind wolf family found him when he was just a tiny baby. This is the tale of Mowgli from The Jungle Book.
Mowgli grew up with the wolf cubs. They ran and played under the warm sun. He had two wonderful teachers. One was a big, sleepy brown bear named Baloo. The other was a smart, quiet black panther named Bagheera. Baloo taught Mowgli the special rules of the jungle so all the animals could live happily. Mowgli learned to talk to the animals and find yummy fruits to eat. But a big tiger with orange and black stripes was grumpy. His name was Shere Khan, and he did not like a man-cub in the jungle. But Baloo and Bagheera were always there to keep Mowgli safe.
Mowgli grew bigger and bigger. He saw he was not a wolf or a bear, he was a boy. He knew in his heart it was time to find other people, just like him. It was sad to say goodbye to his jungle family, but Mowgli was very brave. He gave his friends a big hug and walked to the nearby village. He saw other children for the first time. Mowgli’s story teaches us that family is about love, not about looking the same. It shows us that true friends can be found in the most surprising places.
