Just want The Wawel Dragon - Polish?
Hello! My name is Skuba. I am a shoemaker. I make tiny shoes in my beautiful, sunny city of Kraków. Our city was a happy place. But we had one big, big problem. A dragon lived in a dark, dark cave. The cave was under the king's big castle. He was a grumbly, rumbly dragon! ROAR! His roar was so loud. It made the windows shake, shake, shake. The dragon was not very nice to our fluffy white sheep. Everyone was a little bit scared. What could we do? This is the story of the Wawel Dragon and how a little shoemaker like me solved a very big problem.
The good king said, 'Help us!'. He promised a big prize. Knights came to help. Big, brave knights in shiny, shiny armor. They tried to fight the dragon. But the dragon just went WHOOSH! He huffed hot, smoky air. The knights all ran away! I knew fighting was not the answer. I had to think. I thought and I thought. Then, I had a clever idea! I took a soft, woolly sheepskin. I did not fill it with yummy hay. No, no, no. I filled it with something special. I filled it with hot, spicy powder. I tiptoed to the dragon's dark cave. I left my spicy surprise right outside. The sun came up. The hungry dragon came out. GULP! He ate the whole thing.
Oh dear! That spicy powder made the dragon's tummy feel hot, hot, hot! The dragon was so thirsty. He needed a big, big drink. He ran to the river. He started to drink the water. Gulp, gulp, gulp! He drank and he drank and he drank. His tummy got bigger. And bigger. And bigger! It looked like a giant water balloon. He kept drinking all the water from the big river. His belly grew so big until... POP! The dragon was gone! There was a giant splash of water. Everyone in my city cheered. Hooray! They learned you don't have to be big and strong. A clever idea can make you a hero. Now, a big statue of the dragon is in my city. It reminds everyone of the grumbly dragon and the clever shoemaker.
