Just want Girl Guides?
Hello! We are the Girl Guides. We are a very big club just for girls. Our club started a long, long time ago. It began because girls wanted to have exciting adventures and learn all sorts of new things. In our groups, we have so much fun as a team. We play fun games together and sing lots of happy songs.
We also learn useful skills that help us grow. We learn about going camping and how to enjoy being outside in nature. When we learn a brand-new skill, we earn a special patch to celebrate. We call this little patch a badge. We sew our colorful badges onto our uniforms. This shows everyone all the amazing things we have learned to do. Another very important part of being a Girl Guide is our promise. We promise to always help other people and be kind friends in our communities.
Our Girl Guide family is so big that it is all around the world! There are Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in almost every country you can think of. We might speak different languages, or we might live in different kinds of homes. But even if we seem different, we are all part of one big family of friends. We all share a special promise to be kind and helpful. Together, we all work to make the world a better place for everyone. We do this by helping, sharing, and being a good friend to people wherever we are.
