Hello! We are the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. That is a very long name, so you can call us the RSPCA for short. Our job is to help animals. We believe every animal should be happy, safe, and loved. We help all kinds of animals, from tiny kittens to big dogs. Our goal is to be a friend to every creature.

Sometimes, an animal gets lost and can’t find its way home. Other times, an animal might get sick and need some help. That is when we come in. We bring these animals to our special centers. Our centers are safe, warm places for animals who need care. We make sure they feel comfortable and cozy while they are with us.

Inside our centers, we give the animals everything they need. We give them yummy food to eat and fresh water to drink. They get soft, warm beds to sleep in. If an animal is sick, we give them medicine to help them feel better again. We take care of them until they are strong and healthy, and ready to find a loving home.

We also have another very important job. We teach people how to be kind friends to animals. We show grown-ups and kids how to take good care of their pets. Being a kind friend means giving gentle pets, playing nice games, and always making sure animals have food and a safe place to live. We want everyone to know that all animals deserve our kindness.

Every day, we are still working to help animals. We are here to make sure they are treated with love and care. Helping animals is our most important job, and we work hard to make sure every animal is safe.
