Cooperation

Hi there. My name is Cooperation. I'm the special feeling you get when you work together with someone to get something done. I show up when friends decide to build the tallest block tower ever, or when a family works as a team to clean up after dinner. I am the choice to help each other and share ideas to reach a goal you both want. When you see me, you know that teamwork is making something wonderful happen.

I remember helping two friends, Leo and Mia, with a giant floor puzzle. At first, they weren't working together. Leo wanted to do all the edge pieces himself, and Mia wanted to find all the blue pieces. They weren't getting very far alone. I whispered to them that if they shared the pieces and talked about their ideas, the picture would come together much faster. When they started helping each other, they finished the puzzle and gave each other a big high-five. That's me, Cooperation, making things more fun and helping friendships grow stronger.

I am still here today, helping people work together on big and small things. I have learned that when everyone shares their part, the job gets done better and feels more joyful. Working together helps everyone feel happy and proud of what they made.
