Just want Black Rhinoceros?
Hello there. I am a big, strong black rhinoceros. I live in a warm place called Africa. Do you see my nose? I have two horns right on top. One is big, and one is a little smaller. They are very strong. I also have a special lip. My top lip is pointy, and I can move it all around. It works just like a little finger. When I am hungry, I use my pointy lip to grab yummy leaves and twigs from the bushes. It helps me pull my food close so I can munch, munch, munch. My hooked lip is my special tool that helps me eat my lunch every single day.
My home is called the savanna. It is very warm and sunny in Africa. The sun can get very hot, but I know just what to do. My favorite thing is to find a big, gooey mud puddle. Splash. I love to roll around in the cool, wet mud. I wiggle and I wallow until I am covered from my head to my toes. Taking a mud bath is so much fun, and it is very important. The mud keeps my skin safe from the hot sun. It also keeps the pesky little bugs from bothering me. Taking mud baths is how I protect my skin. It feels so good.
When I am not in my mud puddle, I like to walk around and eat. As I munch on the tasty plants, I help my home. When I walk, I spread seeds from the plants all over the ground. I also make little paths in the tall grass. This helps smaller plants get more sunshine so they can grow big and strong. It is like I am a gardener for the whole savanna. I am so happy I can help new plants grow. I am an important helper in my big African home, and that makes me very proud.
