Just want Alfred Nobel?
Hello, my name is Alfred Nobel. When I was a little boy in a place called Sweden, I loved science. I really loved inventing things. It was so much fun to go to my father's workshop. I would mix things together to see what I could create. Making new and exciting things made me very happy.
My most famous invention was called dynamite. I made it in the year 1867. Dynamite was a very special tool that could help people. It was made to break up big, strong rocks in a safe way. This was very helpful for workers. Because of my invention, they could build long tunnels right through mountains. They could also build new roads for cars and wide paths for trains to travel on.
I earned money from my inventions, and I wanted to use it to do something wonderful for the whole world. So, in the year 1895, I had a big idea. I decided to create special awards. I called them the Nobel Prizes. These prizes are given to people who do great things to help others. They celebrate people who make amazing new discoveries or work hard to make the world a peaceful place.
I lived to be 63 years old. People still remember me today. Every year, when the Nobel Prizes are given to amazing people, it is a reminder of my dream. It is a way to celebrate those who are making our world a kinder, smarter, and more peaceful place for everyone.
