Just want Babur?
Hello! My name is Babur, and I was a prince. I was born in a land with big, beautiful mountains in the year 1483. I loved to explore and dream of big adventures. Even as a little boy, I knew I wanted to be a great leader for my people.
Being a prince wasn't always easy, and I had to travel to a new home. I journeyed to a wonderful, sunny land called India. It was so different from my home! In 1526, after a big battle, I became the king and started a new family of leaders. We called it the Mughal Empire, and it would last for a very, very long time.
In my new home, I loved to build beautiful gardens filled with flowers, fountains, and shady trees. They were happy, peaceful places. I also loved to write. I wrote down everything that happened in my life in a special book so I could remember all my adventures.
I lived to be 47 years old. People remember me for starting the great Mughal Empire and for the lovely gardens I built. My stories and my family of leaders continued to shape the world long after I was gone.
