Just want John Quincy Adams?
Hello! My name is John Quincy Adams. I lived a long, long time ago, even before there were cars. My dad was named John Adams, and he was a very important person who helped start our country. He was so important that he became the second president!
When I grew up, I had a very big job, too. In the year 1825, I became the sixth president of the United States. It was my turn to help everyone. I got to live in the big, beautiful White House. It was a very big job, but I loved helping people and our country.
Even after I was not president anymore, I did not stop working. I wanted to make sure everyone was treated fairly. I used my big voice to speak up for people who needed help. I also told everyone that all people should be free. I believed that was the most important work of all.
I lived to be 80 years old. People remember me as someone who loved his country very much. I spent my whole life working to make it a better and fairer place for everyone, and I hope you will always try to help others, too.
