Just want Philip II of Macedon?
Hello! My name is Philip. I was a king a very, very long time ago in a place called Macedon. Being a king was a big job! I got to wear a crown and lead all of my people. I lived in a big palace in a city named Pella. I wanted to make my home the best and safest place it could be for everyone.
To keep my kingdom safe, I needed a great team of helpers called soldiers. I made sure they were strong and brave. To help them protect our home, I gave them special long spears. We all worked together to make Macedon bigger and stronger. I loved seeing my kingdom grow and become a happy place for all my people.
I had a wonderful son, and his name was Alexander. I was so proud of him! I taught him everything I knew about being a good and brave leader. I knew that one day, he would be a great king, too. He was very smart and strong, and he grew up to be very famous.
I lived to be 46 years old. People remember me for making my kingdom of Macedon strong. They also remember me as the father of one of the most famous leaders in history, my son, Alexander the Great.
