Just want Trajan?
Hello! My name is Trajan. A long, long time ago, I was an emperor. An emperor is like a king for a very big place called the Roman Empire. I was the first emperor who wasn't born in the big city of Rome. I grew up in a sunny place called Hispania, which we now call Spain.
Being an emperor was a very important job, and my favorite part was helping people. I made sure everyone had what they needed. Around the year 100, I created special programs to help children get good food and go to school. I also loved to build things! I built strong bridges and roads so people could travel safely. I even built a giant shopping center called Trajan's Market where families could buy food and clothes. It was a happy and busy place for everyone.
I always tried my best to be a kind and fair leader. I lived to be 63 years old. People remember me as one of Rome's greatest emperors because I cared for my people and built amazing things that made their lives better. Some of the incredible buildings and bridges I made are still standing today for people to see!
