Just want Emperor Hadrian?
Hello! My name is Hadrian, and I was an emperor of the great Roman Empire a very long time ago. I was born on January 24th in the year 76. My home was a place called Italica, which is now in the country of Spain. Even when I was a boy, I loved to learn new things. I was especially interested in Greek art and big ideas. My relative was the emperor, a man named Trajan. When he needed someone to rule after him, he chose me! In the year 117, I became the emperor of Rome.
I was not an emperor who only wanted to fight battles. I loved to build wonderful things for my people! One of my favorite projects was in Rome, where I rebuilt a famous temple called the Pantheon. It is very special because it has a giant round hole in its ceiling called an oculus. The oculus lets the sunshine stream in like a big spotlight from the sky! I also wanted to make sure my empire was safe. All the way in a land called Britain, I told my soldiers to build a huge stone wall. We started building it in the year 122. The wall stretched for miles and miles, and it was named Hadrian's Wall, after me. You can still see parts of that strong wall today.
Most emperors stayed in the grand city of Rome, but not me. I wanted to see my whole empire with my own eyes! I spent more than half of my time as emperor traveling from place to place. My adventures took me to faraway lands like Greece, Egypt, and Britain. I wanted to meet the people in every part of my empire and see how they lived. It was important to me to make sure everyone was happy and that the empire was peaceful. It was one long, amazing journey.

I ruled for 21 years and lived to be 62 years old. Today, people remember me as one of the 'Five Good Emperors' of Rome. I am remembered for the amazing buildings I created, like the Pantheon and my famous wall. I helped show that a leader could make the world better not just by winning wars, but by building things, traveling, and keeping the peace.
