Just want Emperor Hadrian?
Hello. My name is Hadrian. A very, very long time ago, I was a Roman Emperor. That's like being a king for a huge place called the Roman Empire. My empire was so big and had so many different people living in it. I loved to travel all around my empire to see all the wonderful places and say hello to everyone. It was a big, big adventure to go from town to town and see how everything was growing and changing. I wanted to make sure everyone felt safe and happy.
One of my favorite things to do was build. In a faraway land called Britannia, I built a wall. It wasn't just any wall—it was super, super long. It stretched all the way from one side of the land to the other side. My soldiers would stand on the wall to watch over everything and keep our empire safe and sound. I wanted everyone to feel protected. I also helped build beautiful temples and other big, strong buildings in other cities so people had lovely places to go.
I lived to be 62 years old, and I spent my life trying to make my empire strong and beautiful for everyone. Today, people can still visit parts of the big wall I built. It is very old, but it is still standing. It helps them remember me and the great Roman Empire from long, long ago.
