The story

Virgil the Storyteller

Hello! My name is Virgil. I lived a very, very long time ago in a wonderful place called Rome. I was not a king or a soldier. I was a poet! That means my job was to tell amazing stories and write beautiful poems for everyone to enjoy.

I loved writing about brave heroes and their exciting adventures. My most famous story was about a hero named Aeneas. He sailed on a big ship across a sparkly blue sea, looking for a new place to call home. He faced big waves and mighty challenges, but he was always brave and kind. His journey was a super-long adventure to help start the city of Rome!

I lived a full life writing my poems and sharing my tales. Even though I lived so long ago, children and grown-ups still read my stories today! It makes me so happy to know that the adventures of heroes like Aeneas are still making people smile and dream. My stories are my way of saying hello to you, all these years later.
