Just want Carbon Cycle?
Hello. I am a secret traveler. I am in the air you breathe out, and I help trees grow big and strong. I am even in the yummy apples you eat. I quietly travel all around the world, from the tallest trees to the deepest oceans. I am everywhere, playing a big game. Can you guess who I am?
I am the Carbon Cycle. I am like a giant, never-ending game of tag. For a long, long time, people did not know I was playing this game. Then, a kind scientist named Antoine Lavoisier, way back in the 1780s, started to figure me out. He saw that plants breathe me in from the air to grow tall. Then, when animals eat the plants, I become part of them. When you breathe out, you send me back into theair for the trees to use all over again. It is a big circle of sharing that connects everyone and everything.
My journey helps keep our world healthy and cozy. I make sure plants have the food they need to make the air we all breathe. By taking care of our big forests and blue oceans, you help me do my job. We work together as a team to keep our beautiful planet happy and green. This helps all the animals and people enjoy our wonderful home.
