The story

I Am Your Yesterdays and Today

Do you remember when you were a tiny, tiny baby. You were so small. Now, look at you. You are a big kid. Yesterday, you played with your toys. Today, you are playing with them again. Yesterday, you ate yummy snacks. Today, you will eat more yummy snacks. I help you remember all those things. I am the Past and Present. The Past is everything that already happened, like when you were a baby. The Present is what is happening right now, like you listening to this story. I am all your yesterdays and your today, all wrapped up together. It's so much fun to remember.

You can find me everywhere. Do you have a picture of yourself as a little baby. That was you in the past. Look how much you have grown. That picture helps the past say hello to you in the present. Look outside at a big, tall tree. It has so many green leaves. In the past, that big tree was just a teeny, tiny seed in the ground. It grew and grew and grew. When your grandparents tell you stories about when they were little, that is me visiting you. They are sharing their past with you in the present. Isn't that like a warm hug from long ago. The past is all around you, in pictures, in big trees, and in cozy stories.

I am here to help you remember all the happy times. The past is full of smiles and sunny days. The fun things you do today will become your past tomorrow. So go play, sing a happy song, and give big hugs. You are making happy memories for your future self to look back on. I am always with you, helping your life become a wonderful story.
