Just want Aeneid?
Before I was a story, I was a little whisper of an idea. I was the sound of a big boat sailing on a sparkly sea. I was the feeling of a fun adventure for a very brave hero. Can you imagine a big trip across the water. It was a secret, waiting to be told. Hello. I am the Aeneid. I am a very special and ancient story, and I want to tell you about my journey.
A kind poet named Virgil made me. He was my very first friend. He created me a long, long time ago in a wonderful place called Ancient Rome. It was between the years 29 BCE and 19 BCE. A great leader named Emperor Augustus asked Virgil for a special story that would make all his people feel happy and proud. So, Virgil told everyone about my hero, Aeneas. Aeneas was so brave. He sailed on a big boat across the bright blue sea, looking for a new home for his family and friends. It was a very big adventure with big waves and new friends.
My story made the people of Rome feel strong and connected, like one big family. They loved hearing about the brave hero, Aeneas, and his exciting journey. I helped them remember that they came from a strong and courageous past. Even now, so many years later, I am still here. My story of bravery and finding a new home reminds everyone that adventures are all around us. Great stories never end, and they help us dream big dreams.
