Just want The Chronicles of Narnia?
Before you even knew my name, you might have felt a hint of my magic. Imagine stepping out of an old, dusty wardrobe not into a room, but into a forest where the air is crisp and cold. Snow crunches under your feet, and the only light comes from a single lamppost glowing among the trees. You might hear the faint sound of sleigh bells or the gentle footsteps of a faun carrying packages. I am that feeling of wonder, a secret world waiting just beyond a door. I am a book series called The Chronicles of Narnia, and my first story is The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
I was born in the mind of a kind and brilliant man named C.S. Lewis. He was a professor in England who loved myths, legends, and grand adventures. My stories didn't start with a plan, but with a picture he couldn't get out of his head: a faun carrying an umbrella and parcels walking through a snowy wood. From that single thought, a whole world grew. The first of my tales, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, was shared with the world on October 16th, 1950. C.S. Lewis was so full of ideas that after my first story was finished, six more tumbled out, one after the other, until the last one arrived in 1956. He created a complete history for my world, from its very beginning to its very end.
My pages became a doorway for children everywhere. Readers followed four siblings—Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter—as they discovered my world of Narnia. They met brave talking animals, like the heroic mouse Reepicheep, and grumpy but good-hearted dwarves. They also met the cruel White Witch, who used her magic to make it 'always winter and never Christmas.' Most importantly, they met Aslan, the great and gentle lion who created Narnia with his song. My stories weren't just about magic swords and talking beasts; they were about being brave when you're scared, forgiving someone who made a mistake, and fighting for what is right, even when it’s hard. I showed children that even the smallest person can make a big difference.

For over seventy years, children and grown-ups have been visiting Narnia. My stories have been turned into movies that sparkle on giant screens and plays performed on stages. I live in libraries and on bookshelves in cozy bedrooms all over the globe. I am more than just paper and ink; I am a promise that adventure is always possible. I remind you that even on an ordinary day, a little bit of magic might be waiting, just through the next door, ready for you to discover. All you have to do is open the book and step inside.
