Just want Ford Model T?
Hello there. My name is the Ford Model T, but my friends all call me Tin Lizzie. Before I came along, the world was a very slow place. Imagine clip-clopping down a dusty road in a buggy pulled by a horse. It took a very long time to get anywhere. But a very clever man named Henry Ford had a great big dream. He saw all the families who wanted to visit relatives in other towns or explore new places. He thought, 'Everyone should have the chance to travel.' So he decided to make a car that was simple, strong, and affordable enough for almost every family to own. He worked very hard, and on October 1st, 1908, the very first one of me was ready to roll.
Building me was a very special adventure. At first, making just one of me took a very long time. But then, in 1913, Mr. Ford came up with a brilliant idea called the moving assembly line. It was like a fun parade just for me. I would start as just a simple frame, and I would move along a track. At the first stop, a worker would add my engine. At the next stop, someone else would attach my wheels. Then came the steering wheel, the seats, and all my other parts. Each person had one special job, and because they did it over and over, they got really good and fast at it. This new way of working meant a brand-new me could be built in just a few hours. For many years, I only came in one color: black. Mr. Ford used to say, 'You can have any color, as long as it's black.' The real reason was that black paint dried much faster than other colors, which kept my parade moving quickly. Because I could be built so fast, I didn't cost a lot of money, and Mr. Ford's dream started coming true.

Oh, the adventures my families and I had. I wasn't just a machine; I became a member of the family. I chugged along bumpy country roads and drove on smooth city streets. I took families on sunny picnics, to visit grandparents who lived far away, and helped doctors get to sick people much more quickly. I changed everything. People were no longer stuck in one place. They could discover new towns, find new jobs, and see parts of the country they had only dreamed about. The world suddenly felt bigger and more exciting. Millions and millions of me were made, putting the whole world on wheels. The last one of me was built on May 26th, 1927. Even though you don't see me on the roads anymore, my big idea lives on. I showed everyone that a good idea could connect people and bring them closer together. Every car you see today is part of my family, continuing the journey I started.
