The story

The Big Bad Wolf

Once upon a time, deep in a green forest, lived a very big wolf. His fur was gray and his paws were big. He loved to run and play games in the woods. Sometimes people called him the Big Bad Wolf because his favorite game was to huff and to puff. He would take a big, deep breath and blow air out with a loud WHOOSH. This is the story of the Big Bad Wolf.

One sunny day, a little girl with a bright red hood walked through the forest. She was going to her grandma's house. In another part of the woods, three little pigs were busy. They were building their very own houses. One little pig made a house of yellow straw. It was light and fluffy. The second little pig made a house of brown sticks. They went criss-cross, criss-cross. The third little pig made a house of strong red bricks. He worked very hard to make his house safe.

The big wolf saw the houses and wanted to play his huffing and puffing game. He went to the straw house and said, "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down.". He took a big breath and WHOOSH, the straw house fell down. He did the same to the stick house. WHOOSH, the stick house fell down. But when he got to the brick house, he huffed. He puffed. He huffed and he puffed with all his might. But the strong brick house did not fall down. The little pig was safe inside. The wolf learned that it is very smart to build things that are strong and safe.
