Just want Maid Marian?
This is a girl named Marian. She lived in a big, green forest called Sherwood Forest. The trees were tall, tall, tall. The moss on the ground was soft and green, like a fuzzy blanket. Chirp, chirp, chirp went the little birds in the trees. Marian loved the forest. Her best friend was a brave and kind man named Robin Hood. Together, they had a very important job. They helped people who were sad and needed a friend. This is the story of their legend, the tale of Robin Hood and Maid Marian.
One morning, it was chilly. Brrr. A grumpy Sheriff had taken all the warm blankets from the little town. The people in the town were so cold. Robin Hood saw them shivering and said, 'We must help!' He gathered his friends, the Merry Men. Marian knew just what to do. She put on her pretty green cloak. Swish, swish, swish. She looked just like a walking bush. She made a special bird call. Tweet, tweet. The Sheriff's guards looked up. When they looked up, Robin and his friends snuck by and gathered all the cozy blankets. They were a super team.
They carried the soft blankets back to the town. Hooray. Everyone cheered. The people wrapped themselves up in the warm blankets. They felt so cozy and safe again. Seeing their happy, smiling faces was the best reward. It made Marian’s and Robin’s hearts feel warm, too. For many, many years, people have told this story. They sing songs and read books about being kind. Helping others is the greatest adventure of all. This story reminds everyone that good friends can make everything better.

About
Maid Marian is a significant character in many Robin Hood tales, often portrayed as Robin's love interest and sometimes as a noblewoman. In some versions of the legend, she is depicted as a shepherdess, showing that her social status can change depending on the story. In some stories, Maid Marian disguises herself as a male page and joins Robin Hood's band in Sherwood Forest, showing her bravery and independence. In other versions, she stays in a castle and spies on Robin's enemies instead of actively participating with the Merry Men. Maid Marian's role in fighting against injustice also varies across different versions of the Robin Hood legend. While Robin Hood and his Merry Men are famous for standing up against unfairness, Maid Marian's involvement in these adventures can be different. In some tales, she plays an active role, while in others, she takes a more passive approach.
