Rotary International

Hello! We are Rotary International. That’s a big name for a very big group of friends. We are neighbors who live all over the world. We come from different towns and cities, but we all share one important idea: we want to help people. Our group started a very long time ago in a city called Chicago. Back then, it was just a few friends who wanted to work together. Now, we have friends helping in countries everywhere.

One of our most important jobs is to help children stay healthy and strong. We want every child to be able to run, jump, and play. To do this, we work with doctors and other helpers. Together, we give children special medicine drops to keep them from getting sick. This medicine helps stop a sickness called polio, which can make it hard for kids to walk. By giving these drops, we help protect children so they can grow up healthy and happy.

Helping kids stay healthy is not the only thing we do. We also help our communities in many other ways. We know that everyone needs clean water to drink, so we help bring it to towns that need it. We help make sure families have good food to eat. We also love helping children learn. That is why we help build schools where they can read books and make new friends. All of our clubs work together to make the world a better, kinder place for everyone.
