Santos FC

Hello! We are Santos Futebol Clube, a football team from the country of Brazil. We were started a very long time ago, on April 14th, 1912. Our home is in a city called Santos, which is right by the ocean. When we were first created, our founders had a big dream for us. They wanted to create a team that the people in our city could cheer for and be proud of. From the very beginning, our goal was to play great football and bring joy to our community.

Many years passed, and in the 1950s, something amazing happened. A very talented young player named Pelé joined our team. At the time, nobody knew that he would become one of the best football players the world has ever seen. With Pelé playing for us, we started to win many important games and championships. People all over the world heard about our team because of how well we played. This exciting time was so special that it became known as our 'Golden Age.' We became famous everywhere, and Pelé was a big reason why.

Our story didn't stop after the Golden Age. We became known for something else that makes us very proud: helping young players become great. We have a tradition of finding new football stars and helping them grow. Many years after Pelé played for us, we did it again. Another amazing young player named Neymar Jr. started his career right here with us. We helped him learn and improve, and just like Pelé, he grew up to become a world-famous player that everyone knows. It is an important part of who we are to help new talent shine.

Today, we are still playing football and working hard for our fans. You can always spot us on the field in our famous all-white uniforms. Our supporters have a special nickname for us. They call us 'Peixe,' which is the word for 'Fish' in Brazil. It is a fun name that connects us to our city by the sea. Recently, we faced a big challenge. For the first time ever, our team was moved to a different division. But we are not giving up. We are working hard every day to return to the top for all the people who cheer for us.
