Save the Children

Hello! We are an organization called Save the Children. Our job is to help children all over the world. We work hard to make sure kids everywhere can be safe, healthy, and happy. Being safe means having a warm place to sleep. Being healthy means having good food to eat. And being happy means having lots of time to play and learn.

We were started a long time ago. Back then, there was a big war, and many children needed help. They needed food to eat and people to care for them. Our first job was to make sure those children were okay. We wanted to help them feel strong and cared for, even during a difficult time.

Today, we help children in many different ways. If a child is hungry, we bring food so they can have energy to run and grow. If a child is sick, we help them get medicine to feel better again. We also believe that learning is very important. That is why we help children go to school. At school, they can learn about letters and numbers, and they can also play and make new friends.

We are still working today in many countries all around the world. Sometimes, scary things happen, like a big storm that can damage homes. When that happens, we are there to help families and make sure children are safe. We work hard every day to help every child have a bright future, where they can dream big and have a happy life.
