Just want Early Humans?
Hello! We are early humans. We lived a very, very long time ago, when the world was full of giant, woolly animals. We didn’t live in houses with doors and windows like you do. We lived outside in nature. When we needed a safe place to rest, we found shelter inside caves.
Every day was an adventure because we had to find our own food. We were hunter-gatherers. That means we gathered yummy things to eat, like sweet berries and plants. We also worked together in our groups to hunt big animals. To help us, we made the very first tools. We found sharp stones and strong sticks and used them to make tools for our work.
We lived together in families and groups, and we always took care of each other. When we gathered inside our cave homes, we told stories in a very special way. We made our own paint from colorful rocks and soft dirt. Then, we painted pictures right on the cave walls. We loved to paint pictures of the animals we saw, like horses and big bison.
Even though we lived a long, long time ago, people today can still learn about our lives. They can see the stone tools we made and the amazing animal pictures we painted on our cave walls. We were the very first artists and the first people to make tools, and that is our story.
