Just want Achaemenid Empire?
Imagine a giant, colorful blanket stretching over sunny mountains and sparkly rivers. It was so big that it covered many, many lands. Lots of different people lived inside this cozy blanket, and they were like one big, happy family. It was a special place to live, a wonderful home for everyone. I was that great and special home, and my name was the Achaemenid Empire.
My story began with a very kind king. His name was Cyrus the Great, and a long, long time ago, around the year 550 BCE, he brought all of my lands together. He was a very fair king who wanted everyone to be happy. When he visited the big city of Babylon in 539 BCE, he told all the people they could keep their own special stories and songs. He wanted everyone to feel safe and loved inside me, their giant home.
After Cyrus, another king named Darius I came to help me grow. He loved to build amazing things. Around the year 515 BCE, he started building a beautiful city called Persepolis. It had tall, tall columns that reached for the sky, like big stone trees. He also built long roads that were like ribbons connecting all my parts. These roads made it easy for friends from far away to visit each other and share happy messages and lovely gifts.
My time as a giant kingdom ended a very long time ago, around the year 330 BCE. But my story never really ended. Even today, people can visit the wonderful places that were once part of me, like the tall columns of Persepolis. My story reminds everyone that being kind and bringing people together is the best thing of all. I am here to help you remember that being friends makes the whole world a beautiful place.
