The story

I Am Decision Making

Hi there. I’m Decision Making. I’m that little helper inside your brain that shows up whenever you have a choice to make. I help you look at all your options and think about which one is the best. I help you pick the one that feels right, kind, and safe. Learning how to make good choices is a super skill that helps you every single day.

Imagine you are at the playground and you see a shiny toy car left behind in the sand. I help you pause and think. I ask, 'Should I keep it, or should I try to find who it belongs to?'. I help you remember how you would feel if you lost your favorite toy. You decide to give the car to a grown-up at the park so it can be kept safe. That’s me, helping you feel proud and do the right thing, even when it’s tricky.

I am always with you, helping you learn and grow with every choice you make. Sometimes choices are easy, like picking a snack, and sometimes they are hard. But each time you listen to me and think before you act, you get stronger and wiser. Learning to make thoughtful choices is a journey that lasts your whole life.
