The story

My Fun Jumping Rope Game

Jumping rope is a fun game that helps my body feel happy and strong. I use a long rope with two handles, one for each hand. Before I start, I find a big, open space where my rope won't bump into anything.

First, I hold one handle in each hand and let the rope rest on the ground behind my feet. I swing the rope up over my head. When I see it come down in front of my toes, I JUMP! Landing on my feet feels bouncy and makes my heart go thump-thump-thump, which means I'm getting stronger.

Jumping rope is a great way to play and move my body. It helps my heart stay healthy and makes my legs strong for running and playing with my friends. It's a happy game I can play anytime to feel good.
