My Bedtime Routine

A good sleep routine helps tell my body it's time to rest. First, I change into my soft, cozy pajamas, which feels really comfortable. Then, I brush my teeth to make them shiny and clean for the night. After that, I use the potty one last time so I can sleep all the way until morning without waking up.

After my body is ready, my mind needs to get calm too. I turn off bright screens like tablets because their light can trick my brain into staying awake. Instead, I do something quiet like reading a favorite story with a grown-up. When I get into bed, I snuggle under the covers, turn off the light, and take a few slow, deep breaths. This helps my busy thoughts slow down so I can drift off to sleep.

Having a bedtime routine is important because it helps my body and mind get the rest they need. When I get enough sleep, I wake up feeling strong and ready to learn and play the next day. This simple habit helps me stay healthy and full of energy.
