My Bedtime Routine

When it is time for bed, I get my body ready for sleep. First, I change into my soft pajamas. Then, I brush my teeth so they are clean for the night. Doing these things tells my body that the day is over. It is time to get comfortable and rest.

After I am cozy, it is time for quiet activities. My grown-up reads a story to me from a book. I like to have a cuddle because it makes me feel safe and warm. These calm moments help my body feel sleepy and ready to close my eyes and drift off.

Getting good rest at night is important. When I sleep well, my body gets strong for the next day. This helps me have lots of energy for my favorite things. Because I rested, I can run, jump, and play all day long. A good sleep helps me have a happy day.
