The story

A Day with Argentinosaurus

Hello there. My name is Argentinosaurus. I was a very, very big dinosaur. When I hatched from my egg, I was small, but I grew and grew until I was as tall as the trees. My neck was super long to reach the best leaves, and my feet went STOMP, STOMP, STOMP wherever I walked.

My whole day was about finding yummy food. I didn't eat other dinosaurs, oh no. I was a plant-eater. My favorite thing to do was munch on tasty green leaves from the tops of tall, tall trees. I’d walk through the warm sunshine, swishing my long tail behind me, looking for the perfect leafy snack. Chomp, chomp, chomp. It was delicious.

I lived a long, long, long time ago, in a time called the Cretaceous period. My dinosaur friends and I aren't around anymore, but you can still learn about us. People found my giant bones in the ground and put them together to see how big I was. It helps everyone remember me, the gentle giant who loved to stomp around and eat yummy plants.
