Just want Andrea del Verrocchio?
Hello. My name is Andrea del Verrocchio. I lived a very long time ago, in the year 1435. I lived in a beautiful city called Florence. When I was a little boy, I loved to make things with my hands. I learned to make pretty jewelry like a goldsmith. I also became a painter and a sculptor, which means I made statues.
I had a big, busy workshop where I made all kinds of art. I painted pictures. I also made amazing statues out of shiny bronze metal. My workshop was a happy place. It was full of helpers and students who wanted to be artists, too. One of my students was named Leonardo da Vinci. He was very good at art, and I taught him everything I knew. He grew up to be one of the most famous artists in the whole world.
I made many beautiful things in my life. My life ended in the year 1488. I lived to be about 53 years old. Today, you can still see my paintings and my statues in museums. I am remembered for the art I made and for being a teacher to other great artists. It makes me happy to know that I helped fill the world with a little more beauty.
