The story

Antonio Stradivari

Hello. My name is Antonio Stradivari. I lived a very long, long time ago. I lived in a pretty town in Italy called Cremona. I loved to work with my hands, and my favorite thing to work with was wood. In my workshop, I was always surrounded by piles of wood. The little pieces that curled off when I worked, called shavings, made the whole room smell wonderful, like a walk in the forest.
